Training Day/Fall Meeting/Spin Camp (Nov. 21) Schedule of Events

Listed below is the schedule of events for the Training Day, the Etude Spin Camp and the Fall Meeting which is in an attachment for the Body's review to know what topics will be discussed.

The CWEA Fall Meeting, Training Day and Spin Camp will be held at South Pointe HS located at 801 Neely Road, Rock Hill, SC 29730.

You do not have to have fees paid to attend but your unit's fees must be paid if you want to be part of the first drawing for performance order. A second drawing will be held for those units that pay after November 21. You may bring payment that day with checks or money orders made out to Carolina Winter Ensemble Association.

The Training Day will consist of various workshops on show design, judges training, other aspects on indoor season ideas and the show hosts meeting. Registration begins at 9am and a general meeting for attendees will be from 9:15 to 9:45am to give an overview of the various sessions. Most meetings will go from 10am to 12 noon with (a provided) lunch to follow from 12 to 1pm. The afternoon session will continue for additional meeting time from 1:10 to 2:30pm. You may choose how many sessions you want to attend.

The Etude Spin Camp, facilitated by Emma Boyce, is $20 per student and registration begins at 8:30am. The actual camp for beginner, intermediate and advanced students will be from 9am to 12 noon with lunch until 12:30pm. Lunch will be sold for $5 and includes 2 pizza slices, a small dessert, a bag of chips and a drink. The final session will be from 12:30 to 2pm.

Finally, the Fall Meeting will begin about 2:45pm and is expected to run about 2 hours with the attached agenda. Please take the time to look over the topics to be discussed prior to the Fall Meeting Saturday afternoon.
