Premiere South Cancellation

Based on the current weather conditions forecasted for this weekend, the Circuit Administration has decided to cancel the Premiere South event scheduled for this weekend at Colleton County High School. While we certainly wish there was an alternative option, we must take into account the safety of all participants, directors, staff and spectators who are traveling to this event.

Per CWEA Policy, all groups that were scheduled to compete at the event this weekend will automatically receive Championships credit without any additional action required on your part. As I’m sure many of you have realized, we now face problems with the administration of our season, specifically to teams being properly assigned in their classifications.

Due to the cancellation, we are making a few adjustments as to how we move forward:

1. Groups wishing to add to the Corinth Holders event on 2/5 may do so by contacting [email protected].
2. There are no openings available to add to the Dorman or Northwestern events on 1/29/22
3. Groups who were scheduled to perform at Colleton County may be reclassified after their next scheduled performance at the discretion of the Classifications Committee
